1. Teaching Facilities:

Teaching Faculty:

The School has 15 highly qualified and experienced tutors. Regular in-service training is provided and the tutors are sponsored for external seminars/ workshops.

Lecture Halls:

The School has got 12 Lecture Rooms with the modest teaching aids for teaching purposes including white boards and LCD Projectors. The institute has an auditorium/ main hall of a seating capacity of 200 people

Skills Laboratory:

The School has well equipped skills laboratory that is essential for building students’ skills and testing their theoretical knowledge. The student learns assessment skills and nursing procedures with a combination of lecture and hands-on demonstrations. The students use the simulation setting to demonstrate critical thinking skills.

School Library:

The School has a well-equipped library containing textbooks, CD’s, research reports, national guidelines and reference books on all disciplines of Nursing, Midwifery and Environmental Sciences as recommended by the MoES and Regulatory Bodies.

Computer lab:

Keeping pace with latest technology, we have a fully equipped computer lab with an Internet facility.

2. Clinical Facilities:

For community nursing and midwifery, the school is affiliated with the Urban and Rural Public Health Centers. For wider clinical exposure, our students are posted at regional and national hospitals within the country. The School also has affiliation with various private health centres in Kasese district.

3. Hostel Facilities:

The School has a female students’ hostel located at the school campus managed by the matron. The male students’ hostels are located opposite the schools’ main campus and managed by the Patron. All hostels are guarded by the school security guards.

4. Sports:

The Institution has partnered with Mpondwe Lhubiriha Town Council and the nearby schools to provide play grounds with adequate facilities for outdoor games. Annual cultural and sports galas are held in which students and staff participate.

5. Transportation Facilities:

Transport facilities for staff and students are available within the School.

6. Other Facilities:

The Stanbic and centenary bank branches, ATM facility and mobile money booth facilities are available within reach for students’ convenience.
